Responsibilities:

1. Ability to write efficient, secure and scalable web applications using PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

2. Collaborate with designers, developers and project managers to create outstanding user experiences.

3. Participate in project planning, estimation, and development of technical specifications.

4. Conduct testing and debugging of applications to ensure they meet requirements.

5. Stay up-to-date with emerging trends and technologies in web development.

6. Contribute to the improvement and maintenance of existing software codebases.

Qualifications:

1. Bachelor’s degree in computer science or a related field

2. At least 1-2 years of hands-on experience in PHP web development

3. Proficient in PHP, MySQL, HTML, CSS, and JavaScript

4. Familiarity with MVC frameworks such as Laravel, CodeIgniter

5. Working experience of web content management tool like WordPress would be an added advantage.

6. Experience with version control systems, particularly Git

7. Understanding of responsive design principles and cross-browser compatibility issues

8. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently and in a team environment.

9. Excellent verbal and written communication skills
